History
On the 19th of june 2008 the Research Center on Software Production Methods (PROS) // Centro de Investigación en Métodos de Producción Software, is constituted as a Universidad Politécnica de Valencia - specific Research Center.
The PROS Research Center is the result of the growth of the Research Group on Software Production Methods (OO-Method), from the Department on Information Systems and Computation of the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia (UPV). The PROS Research Center is a UPV-specific research center as defined in the Research Structures Rules, aproved by the UPV Government Board on the 27th of July 2006, according to the articles 22 and 25 of the UPV Statute. Based on these rules, the PROS Research Center was approved by the Government Board on the 14th of June 2008.
